I think, given recent events, it is no longer clear whether "trumped" can be interpretted in the way it as traditionally been. So I'm not entirely clear what the thread title is supposed to mean.
Still, I wonder, if Sony has mis-stepped this generation up until now, does that imply we should be disappointed with PS4 having sold almost 50 million already and it should really be at more like 60 or 70 million already? What should things look like if Sony hadn't allegedly mis-stepped?
