What a differnce a day makes..... PSX happended, and yeah I dont think theres any tipping point.
PS4 has the gen in the bag so to speak.

I think it is important to look at the broader picture. The "tipping point" is not just in regards to "catching up" to the PS4. Rather, this is the year the Xbox One really saw itself back on the map. With Microsoft timing price cuts with key releases and offering extremely competitive deals, they ensured people didn't forget that the machine still existed, while also opening the door to new possibilities with the both the X1S and Scorpio. They were also able to capitalize on a narrative about 4K Blu-ray (no matter how much people minimize this). Perception is important, even if, down the road, that proves to be less of deciding factor regarding a potential purchase.

Their image is better than it was in 2015... thats true.

However after seeing PSX, Im left feeling "yep sony just layed the smack down".

Their still halting along, at a slower pace than their competition.

The games the PS4 has comeing... its future looks so much brighter than the XB1's.
