Physical unless much more expensive or lack of a physical release, such as FAST Racing NEO.
In other cases such as Virtual Console or PlayStation Classics, digital is my preferred option. You can actually support whoever is distributing the game, and the file sizes are usually small for old games.
Movies goes both ways for me. I love Netflix and I've spent money on Google Play, renting movies. Although I prefer a physical copy if it's available at an affordable price.
Music I used to buy physically exclusively, but once I got into college I had to prioritize it over $30 Japanese CDs that I had to import. I usually go digital nowadays, it's cheaper and more convenient for me as I don't have the time or my own car to carry CDs with me. I still buy physical releases of concerts though.
I prefer physical at the end of the day, but digital is a nice alternative.
