I suppose the subtext of this revelation is that this pushes us towards thinking the game is a true PS4 exclusive.
Previously, the deal suggested that it was a timed PS4 exclusive that would eventually come to PC. But details of the PC version kind of died out.
Of course, Sony was fine with FromSoftware using the Bloodborne engine for Dark Souls III, but that was a different scenario.
