I like physical media, especially if it comes with a nice box (like a hard- or steelcover), a booklet and maybe some little art leaflets.

I tend to buy special editions when going physical. I did it with my studio Ghibli DVD collection, wich I'm keeping despite switching to Blue Ray, just because the boxes and extras are nice. I also do it with video games. If a game has an instruction manual, like shovel Knight, COUNT ME IN MOTHERFUCKER!

Other than all that I also like the convinience of digital media, the seamless switch between software, films, music whatever all in the palm of your hand. For a lot of games I wish I could have the convinience of both.
I'd like to be able to get a single digital copy tied to my account with my physical purchase. Yes, it would probably get in the way of sales because people would exploit it, but it would still be nice.
