I said this before but....

At one time, I loathed digital games. Then XBL and PSN started releasing these critically acclaimed, small games that were only available via download. They were a cool addition to my library.

After that, I got a few digital games for my PSP because they ran better and were easier to carry around.

PSN had some retail titles that could be downloaded but they were so big, I couldn't fathom downloading them. Then, Xbox had games like Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands for like 6gb. I warmed up to the idea but I still preferred physical.

Then, I began downloading 3DS games. Old Nintendo games on my Wii. Nintendo hyped up digital games on the WiiU. And often, you could find a good digital game on sale. A couple of times, I couldn't find a game on store shelves so I downloaded them and it was good.

Fast forward to the present. What's holding me back?Everything has to be installed anyway, right? I've already had to pack away several games because they couldn't fit in my shelves anymore. It would be a headache digging out my copy of Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing. Only the "A list" are on display these days.

Several of my older games were backwards compatible on XBO and given away for free and suddenly, I realized, why not go full digital? I'm not trading in anything. I only traded in about 4/1000 of my games since 2007.

For about seven months now, I've been digital only and I've never been happier. Getting a new, bigger HDD excites me, now!
