It seemed to be fairly well-reported that the Xbox One version was being heavily worked on to hit a decent resolution/ fps right to the last minute back in August. He even said himself at E3 that the September ship date was going to be hard to meet, among other things.
Had they only had ONE PS4 sku and no xbox to worry about, they probably wouldve released it six months ago or longer. Optimizing for all three skus certainly caused some last-minute scrambling.
The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.
