Final Fantasy was the gold standard for me in SNES days, I'd say back then the scope was unparalleled and I enjoyed the battle system. By PS1 era other series has caught up to it or surpassed it for me. I enjoyed XIII more than most, but XV's action looking battles and character designs have me worried and waiting for a price drop.
Really I am most excited for VII-R for the characters.
