Hes highly successfull and probably made tons of money.
Most other VA's arnt as fortunate as him.

Im not sure if hes against the VA that are on strike, or just means to say programmers/artists for said games should also get paid better?

Programmers are treated horribly too in the game industry, worse than VA's are, and they work longer/harder.

Alot of people getting a education as a programmer, are being told dont do it for the money, or the easy work, you wont get paid anything and will be worked to death doing it. Reality is unless your extremly passionate about it, gameing isnt what most programmers aim for, because its a rough ride.

Well, that is because most VA aren't as talented and valluable as him?

Sharing profits means you being part of the reason for that profit to exist, not only a point in the middle of the occurence.

So he is very right, if the guys don't perform to a level that is what is bringing money they shouldn't be asking for the money.

Also, are the VA also wanting to share the losses when those happen?

If they're not careful, Nolan North will voice every single character in video games, by himself.

Why would anyone want that? a highly tallented VA doing lots of works for games? my that sounds horrible :p

Okay eventually some would get tired of always hearing the same voice....

Well, I heard japan have like a dozen male porn actors for thousand female actress and the most famous of the males said he felt sad because it must be boring to see he all the time in all the movies.

That's real easy for him to say, he's the highest paid of all video game voice actors, he's in just about every game released in the last decade. The vast majority of video game voice actors are underpaid, they get just a few small roles a year, and are forced to work a 2nd or even 3rd job just to make ends meet. I'm not saying that the developers don't deserve better too, they most certainly do. It's time for developers and actors to unite and go on strike together until the publishers give them a bigger piece of the giant pie. Many of these games make billions of dollars, yet the developers and actors together might be lucky to get 15% of that revenue between them (split about 400 ways), the rest goes to pay some fat cat executive's bloated paycheck.

And why do you think he is in all the games and the others have small roles very sparcely? Because they don't bring the same value to the production and thus won't have more money just because they want and think deserve.

No they aren't forced to work 2nd or 3rd job to make ends meet. If they do very small roles during very limited times of the year you can't even say their primary occupation is being VA.

Yes, sure there is so much profit being made... not like several companies are going bankrupt, should proggramers, devs and VAs pay for the companies going bankrupt? Nope, they unfortunately get fired and may miss a payment or another, but they aren't debted for the harshes of the company. They are being paid what they agreed to work for.
