| Kresnik said: Hmm. Personally, it didn't bother me that much at all, but I quite enjoyed Okabe at the start of Steins;Gate too (while I know most people couldn't stand him). His whole personality and everything he's doing does seem incredibly mean-spirited, and he basically uses all the other characters in the game to get what he wants. With that said, I found that the overall journey/story was worth persevering (even if the ending were a letdown). It's a strange game, it's very laid back and most of the time is just spent ambling round rural Japan thinking about things and occassionally talking to people. Reminds me of how I imagined Fuuraiki being, except there are moments of excitement whenever you're interrogating her classmates. I'd definitely recommend it. Maybe not for full price, but it's worth playing. Anything else you want to know, feel free to just ask. |
Thanks for the write up. I feel like I hate him already lol.
Since I already have too much games on my plate right now, I guess Ill shelf Root letter for a month or 2.
