Are you complaining, for the fact, that the majority loves to kill, to complete a goal. VS doing it another way. You really can't change that. A weapon is the easiest way to interact with something. You can't force peoples tastes. But, there are games that don't have weapons. You can play them. But, they aren't going to replace most of the genres. Guns trigger action and drama very easily. I'm not saying a talking game won't be successful. Or we wouldn't have shows/games etc. like Star Trek. But weapons are more sought after. Because most people won't wield or use one, in real life. Plus, these games let us preform actions that are wrong. Without consequences. That is really the drive of why GTA sells. You can murder or have sex with a prositute, with ease.
