Modern democracies have failsafes for those situations nowadays. The US is not a democracy. It's time for everyone to finally see how wrong the system is. Discrimination left and center and some worth more than others. It is unsightly. The majority is not always better, but the majority is always LEGITIMATE. Well that's a damn shame because Hillary only got a plurality.
I guess that also makes my 'tyranny of the majority' argument flawed, though not in the way you expected
