Maybe the decision of splitting the story wasn't a good one from a critical point of view. Taking the main event of the scenario out of the game and make a movie out of it does hurt that overall plot of the game. But in reality you can just experience and enjoy both. So personally I have no issue with it. Especially when the characters and the small interactions happen to be full of meanings. Still halfway through :P |
The trouble is though that the movie doesn't really stand well on it's own. I would have much preferred the start of the game to be based around that war rather than pushing a car. instead now it doesn't even feel like there was even a war (im up to chapter 8) and the characters don't reaalllly seem to bothered by the events lol. I mean noct barely shed a tear when he found out his father was killed.
