Maybe the decision of splitting the story wasn't a good one from a critical point of view. Taking the main event of the scenario out of the game and make a movie out of it does hurt that overall plot of the game. But in reality you can just experience and enjoy both. So personally I have no issue with it. Especially when the characters and the small interactions happen to be full of meanings.

Considering how cool it is to hate on FF these days. I say that user score of XV is its greatest achievement
