No Sony hasn't doomed the PSVR, this is super data trying to save face from their earlier and unreasonable prediction of 2.6 million. They also had to lower the forecast because they evidently realized this. Supply and demand both seem to be strong this season around Portland, OR this holiday for anecdotal evidence.
