Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.

Wait, I fail to deal with reality but you keep making a random case over points that I already mentioned and failed to give proof to back it up at all? Who's failing to deal with reality here?

1.- Japanese people DO buy Xbox, just not Xbox One as based on the numbers. I already said that Xbox 360 was considered at some point to be king of Shumps and naughty visual novels in Japan, and even gave you proof highlighting several companies like Cave. Heck, several japanese games were developed for Xbox One, like Psycho-Pass or Raiden V like I told you earlier. There's more, there's Earth Wars, Chaos;Child, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Shooting Love Trilogy, among others. There IS incentive in making these games, and you're failing to acknowledge it even though I basically pointed you at it.

2.- I admitted that these games have a bigger following on Playstation and that Microsoft failed to grasp such segment of market even though they tried hard. You fail to acknowledge the things I already said to somehow try to validate yours more, but it just comes across as you ignoring the points I make, since I wasn't even arguing this point. If you don't pay attention, I'm just really wasting my time here, but let's go on.

3.- Those "western" devs you so mention, which I can only think of Johnatan Blow and the FEZ dude (though you provide no source at all) also release games on Playstation. By extrapolation, I guess that also makes Playstation userbase a hater of japanese games, since western games sell much more?

4.- Just because a fanbase believes to be better or worse doesn't, in any way or shape, justifies a massive extrapolation like those you make. You're unique among that fanbase you like to point out, and for some reason you need to find validation in numbers rather than in thoughful, sourced arguments, which really doesn't cut it at all, sorry.

The fact is that several japanese games wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for Xbox (not Xbox One, but the Xbox ecosystem), that several japanese developers felt in love with Xbox and found success in it (Sourced it with Itakagi, to name an example), that some japanese developers know there's market in Xbox One and that's why I pointed you out to Nier: Automata, and while yes, it's probably that the japanese market would have to reshape a bit if Xbox was the only console (EDIT: heck, if suddenly all companies ceased to exist and only one remained, regardless of which one was it, the market would have to endure a big reshape), it neither means japanese developers would cease to exist nor that there's anti-hate japanese blood among the Xbox userbase. Nothing you've said so far demonstrates this idea

Nothing personal, either. Just pointing out how wrong your vision of it seems to me.

EDIT: I forget to mention the sentiment of Phil Spencer toward japanese developers and gaming, which is especially noteworthy given that he's the Head CEO of Xbox right now, but doesn't really matter much. Here's a pic of Noctis and Prompto to come back to the original thread, since some people have asked for some of these!
