My only complaint with the way HDMI-CEC works on the PS4 is that most of the time, while in Rest Mode, the PS4 will not activate to turn on my HT system. If my HT system is already on and the PS4 is is Rest Mode it will auto-switch the inputs though. If the PS4 is completely powered off it will always activate HDMI-CEC to turn my HT system on.
My PS3 Slim always works to turn the system on, but then again it does not have the Rest Mode that PS4 has.
