8 out of 10 is still a really good score. 

But I suspect Ruler scored the game 10 out of 10 before he even played a second of it. 

Why shouldnt it be 10/10? its the AAA JRPG this gen the only one of its genre. I played the game, the Platinum Demo, Episode Duscae and the Judgement  Demo thats more than enough

You haven't "played the game" if all you did is play the demos. And I doubt you already finished the game. 

In any case, you pretty much confirmed what I thought. You're blindly giving the game a 10 because you were sold on it before it was even a thing.
