Its understandable for past games to have missed the boat for a patch even with the pro, but we all know how Microsoft is and how Microsoft loves to shadow Sony. They'll want to boast about having the best version of a game that came out a year ago? Hardly the best tactic.
PS4 Pro hasn't seen that many old 3rd party titles updated, I don't see why it'll be any different with Scorpio, and considering the probably lackluster sales on Xbox for FFXV it's even less likely that square enix will bother.
I wouldn't expect to see many 2016 titles be updated for Scorpio, A PlayStation/Japanese Centric franchise is even less likely to happen.
