Seriously. I wish the media stop regurgitating this bullshit about cancer as a single disease. Heck, most people consider "cancer" to be the solid tumor variety (like lung cancer or breast cancer) and while they are more common than hematological malignancies (like the leukemias) they are also vastly different from them. So, no, a single cure for cancer is absolutely impossible even if we knew the exact mechanisms on why cancer occurs in the first place. And we don't.
