vr games look similar to last gen games in general. Thats no big surprise.

Driveclub wasnt designed to work with VR or at 60 fps. All the assets (polygons and so on), the enginge in general, the level of detail and sooo on are all created with a 30 fps lock in mind.
For driveclub vr they just cut off details and features till they reached 60 fps. Thats why it looks bad. If they make a game from scratch, they can use way more (not AS good looking) details and assets (less polygons) and soo on and the game will look significantly better.

Its like you have a 500gram perfectly round little cake.
This 500 gram cake will also look better then a 1 kilo cake cut into half.
Yeah both pieces are 500 gram in the end, same weight. But the one was made to be 500 gram from the beginning will look better.
