I hope it comes to Switch and XBO as well simply because MvC series should never be tied to one system. Also after SFV I don't trust the Sony/Capcom marriage.

That is entirely on Capcom though. The game wasnt going to be made until someone approached them to provide some monetary aid. And besides, Sony partnering with them still allowed a PC version.

Considering what happened to SFV, I'm sure they won't risk another one of their fighting franchises like that in a long time. It will be multiplat.

Just because SF5 is not blowing sales out of the water doesn't mean it is not doing ok enough for Capcom. They seem to have a season 2 in development so things must be ok, not ideal perhaps.

Capcom and Sony partnering up for exclusive games doesn't seem like a sound plan. Either make multiplats or stick to what sells. I feel they would benefit more from partnering up with Nintendo. I mean, Pokkén Tournament outsold Street Fighter V on the PS4. Talk about humiliation.

I think a big issue ppl seem to be missing here is that Capcom has really little say when it comes to the Marvel part of this franchise. IF there is indeed an MvsC4, Marvel is just as important a partner as Capcom is and they have just as must leverage on the IP. For all we know, Marvel just doesn't care about Nintendo devices... they seemingly don't care with Spider-man, who they went directly to Sony with.

The reason Spiderman is exclusive to PS4 is because Sony owns the rights to Spiderman.  It has nothing to do with Marvel disliking Nintendo.  The Lego Marvel game is on the Wii U, so there is a  Marvel game that has recently come out on a Nintendo system.
