Ideally, I want my games to run in 60fps; I prioritize that above most other things. However, that bit about Tomb Raider and its jitter problems is very unpleasant to hear.

If that's what happens when you devide your resources like that, then I'd rather not have the option to begin with. I would much rather have a well envisioned and executed piece of work instead.

I've been playing Eagle flight for the past couple hours. It gets really hard in chapter 4, this game would be impossible at 30fps. You control your direction through lag free headtracking at 120fps, it would not be possible with an analog stick either. It's amazing what you can do that way, pretty unbelievable how fast you can react and weave between obstacles. Not all games need that kind of precision and immediate response, but it does feel good to be in complete control.
