What does DDR4 have to do with it, the ps4 pro and the pc both use DDR3 sure, but they both have GDDR5 memory to run games..... on the pc it isn't shared and the pc has more GDDR5 memory then the ps4 has total memory available for games (5.5GB vs 6GB) so the DDR3 in the pc, which can be used for caching and is significantly faster then HDD caching, will just improve the quality of gaming, not decrease it.
