First, I'm very much in favor of Nintendo remastering and porting many of their best Wii U games to the switch as, firstly, they've been criminally under appreciated, and secondly, I'd like to see a generation where Nintendo is free to allocate their resources that are normally spent on new mandatory chapters of various games (super smash/Mario kart etc) instead on new projects. Heck, maybe even a new IP.
Otherwise, I think most of the classics of gen 5 (ps1/n64/Saturn) could use a remastering as it is, in my experience, the gen that has aged the worst by far. While I can appreciate the look of the others, those experimental 3D models, controls, and disgusting textures have simply aged horribly.
