I fully agree, and I think they need to go even further. As I have said before, you can buy $1000+ Blu-ray players, $3000 Recievers, and $25,000 TV's, and all of these markets offer the same, but lesser experiences for as low as $100.

I would absolutly love to see PS5 launch with 3 tiers. Base model at $399.99, a mid tier model at $699.99, and a full bells and whistles model at $999.99. The same for Xbox Post Scorpio, and even PSVR.

I want to see options, and I want to see consoles grow to become much, much more than just game devices. The ultimate would be for Xbox and PlayStation to be the iPhone and Galaxy of the Home computer market, and push PC/MAC the way of the Blackberry.

With Xbox and PlayStation being massive cash cows for MS and Sony, they deserve to have Flagship level products built around them.

So you want PC gaming dead and ruled by Sony and MS?, I always thought you had some dictatorship and hatred for another market, but I didn't think you were that forward.

The PC market will continue to exist as it always has done. Sony won't be ruling it with a console, neither will MS let alone Nintendo, PC's are used to make our games, to run just about everything on this rock, the alst thing NASA is going to want to buy is a Sony PS20 for their space program.

I do wish you'd be a little  more considerate towards those that want more options rather than "get out, go the way of the dodo" type reduction in options.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
