| Grampy said: Bye bye, we'll miss you. Don't let the door hit you in the ass. If the Wii is not giving you the experience you want, sell it, make some money on it and move on. There are two other consoles that will welcome you and they are free of Mario and any games that are new and different. The 26,689,999 of us that are left will soldier on somehow. |
I was going to say:
*waves goodbye*
Have fun with your new hobbies!
But you always steal what I'm going to say!
Maybe I'm being overly mean here, but it's just too fun to not be! Truly though, real big-budget gaming has probably not peaked yet, but I don't think we're all that far from it. Just like with movies, nowadays a single failed game can kill a developer. Two in a row is a disaster of epic proportions. This is a reason why the market is ready for disruption. Upmarketgames of today will most likely not disappear, but change shape. If you don't like the shape it takes (it will most likely be heavily influenced by the wii) you will quit the gaming scene, and that will be that. There will be new hardcore gamers willing to take your position.
