5200 MaH for the battery (w/Joycon batteries factored in) is pretty small.

The Google Pixel C battery with a Tegra X1 is 9200+ MaH, and granted that has a larger screen, but it also only runs the X1 at 80% peak clock (meaning its down-clocked significantly).

I'd be surprised if 5200 MaH gives you even 3 hours unless the Tegra chip Nintendo is using is massively downclocked in portable mode (which isn't a good thing).

Take into consideration that the X2 unlike the X1 is on a 16nm fab process as opposed to a 28nm process. couole that with a smaller dan due to less heat generated and a smaller screen there should be remarkable all round power draw benefits. It should be able to give at least 3hrs. The 5hr things though is a stretch. maybe if you are using the screen at 10% brightness.

Apparantly 256 CUDA cores at 921 Mhz yields about 471 GFLOPS 32bit FP.

Yup, spot on. This is why I say the switch is inherently a 720p console. But it would be a really good 720p console though. It has just about got too much power for 720p, so if devs keep their games to that target they should get some decent results. it's less then 4GB ofavailabe Mem for devs and shared 50GB/s bandwidth would be more than enough for 720p and toned down versions of PS4/XB1 games.
