Nintendo is screwing those who bought a Wii U

Usually the point someone buys games is to play them right after the purchase, if the product delivers in that front they delivered. Anything else is just misguided entitlement or just an excuse to complain just for the sake of complaining.

I disagree, if you are better off not buying the system because most of its exclusives are ported then no, the product does not deliver.
