Yea, that sounds like a terrible clause. I remember hearing something about that awhile back. Must be another awesome lobbyist effort from big pharma. I think the main problem with the TPP is that some companies (like Nike) came out and said oh if this thing passes then we will bring jobs back. Do you think anyone believed that after the last few trade agreements burned American workers for the most part. It just seemed like an outright lie.
