Dunno. I listen to audiobooks because I don't have time reading. Audiobooks are convenient because you can do something else while listening. A lot of people listen to them as a sleep aid.
While it seems interesting it ultimately won't find a lot of fans that like audiobooks.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
