Windows 10 was terribltbunstable on my PC till I disabled all background apps that were enabled by default, these would eat into my RAM and CPU usage and cause programs to crash (and sometimes the whole system, memory protection my ass). My desktop would at random be thrown in dissaray and don't get me started on their update policy.
