I'm being genuine when I say that I feel like the anime has always been horrible when it comes to art style until the Alola season. This is the first time the art or the animation has looked good, and it makes me cring whenever anyone says that XYZ had "good animation." Also, Ash finally looks his age for the first time in 20 years.
I'm looking forward to this season, and I hope the art sticks because it is unquestionably superior in every way.
