This is what I have heard a lot. But the problem is, Activision has made CoD multiplayer dependant in the extreme. I mean, at this point most people just laugh at the idea that a CoD campaign is worth anything. So with the multiplayer being declared broadly mediocre and a step backwards in nearly every way, many don't see the point of buying it when they could buy any of the other great multiplayer shooters out now. Or - if they want a campaign - grab one of the great singleplayer shooters.
