Yeah, it doesn't make sense for all Nintendo fans. I'm not inclined to by "Mario Kart 8: We Finally Stopped Being F***in' Lazy Edition", just for them to have a few new tracks/racers, and FINALLY have a real battle mode. They should offer that shit as DLC for Wii U, for the version I already own.
There is zero appeal to me, as a Wii U owner, to re-buy these games. I can see it for people who didn't buy a Wii U. But that doesn't erase the fact that it's a cheap/lazy move on their part. It feels like Nintendo has been behind since Wii U's launch, and even now, with Switch looming, they're STILL behind.
