To outsell ps4, xbox one really needs to start selling more to outsell ps4. The leaked numbers we get here and there suggests lets say UK+Germany is ps4>xbox one last months and US+Japan is ps4 like 30-50k more in a month over xbox one past 4 months. And xbox one doesnt sell that well in most markets with few exeptions like Mexico, Brazil and Australia.
I dont think Sony is even concerned that xbox one outsell them 2 months in UK with around 22k while having fifa 17 bundles and a lot of deals + their two biggest game launches. Sony had Pro eating some sales which took mostly those sales back. In US market for 4 months someone already mentioned why xbox one outsold ps4.
Its good for xbox one that its doing a lot better than it did and ofcourse adding those extra features helped to boost sales, but you are dreaming if you think xbox one will win any month worldwide.
