Dubai isn't even that great of a place. Sure it looks nice on the outside, but once you open your eyes you realize just how... fake it is. Plus the amount of forced labor and terrible working conditions for the people who built all of those "attractions" made me feel sick whenever I went there.
And before anyone asks, I have family there so I've been forced to go there far too many times...
