Good review, I'm looking forward to playing Here they lie. I think they patched in smooth turning, instead of bag over head turning lol.
He's right about the motion controls. They work in Rez Infinite as an assist to the head tracking pointer, and tumble which is made for it. And on rail shooters, however not necessary as you can aim by looking too. Things like job simulator are fun for a few minutes, yet real interaction simply doesn't work as there is no tactile feedback. Every time your virtual hand goes through a button or drawer etc, immersion breaks down a little. Most games are played with the standard DS4, motion controls have limited use.
Your hands going through objects is not the only problem, games can't stop you from sticking your head through objects either. Most games simply let you do just that and you get a messy view of hollow objects. Bound moves stuff out of the way for the camera, yet you can still walk the character through your head.
Robinson: The journey dims the screen to black when you stick your head in things with a warning message displayed. That prevents messy views and cheating by looking through walls.
