What are they talking about? I haven't been following this game much, but what do they mean "no longer confined to a specific decade." If they aren't "confining themselves to a specific decade," I'll be very disappointed. That was my favorite part of GTA, especially Vice City. Just being immersed in a totally different time period really worked out so well. Could someone please explain what they mean by this quote? Does this game not have a specific time period in which it takes place? I'll be sincerely dissappointed.

How is this cool? I enjoyed all of the old GTAs (GTA2 being my favorite) but I really see nothing to get excited about from this link.

LOL, let me guess you own a Wii.  How did I know?  Well you're obviously trolling and since this is coming for both the PS3 and 360...

I haven't been reading all the previews and news for this game.  This is honestly the first impressions I've read about GTA IV - that link that you provided.  And according to what that link states about GTA IV, I find nothing exciting about it.(my reasoning provided in my previous post.)

 I also think its a cool feature.  I've thought it was cool since GTA 3.  That's my point.  It's been a feature since GTA3, so I see no reason to get excited about it.

 

And you sir are correct, I indeed do own a Wii.  I do not own a PS3 or an XBox360.  I have 4 PCs in my basement, 2 of which could definantly play GTAIV when is inevitable PC port comes.  I've also had my eye on buying an xbox360, so please don't pull the fanboy "trolling" arguement.  Or the "you're too poor to afford a 360 or PS3," as I do indeed have enough money to buy them, in fact enough to build 2 top end machines in one year (as we know PC's cost more than consoles.)

My opinions do not stem from the fact that I do not own a PS3 or 360.  I made sound points as to why the reasons that specific link provides do not excite me.  I'm sorry if that bothers you.  If you would like to provide me with links that do a better job discussing the new features that GTA IV will have, then do so.  My entire opinion of this game now is based on this link, as I have sadly not been doing any research about GTAIV.
