Are they "going insane" or are you grossly exaggerating once more so that this will fit into your agenda?
It took me only a few minutes to learn what this is about. It's in the constitution that the President take a salary, even if he donates it all. It's as simple as that. George Washington did accept a salary because Congress decided that the President had to take one so as not to create a different standard for wealthy and non-wealthy office holders.
Can't you even try to tell the whole story in your threads? Does it all have to be heavily biased propaganda?
