Considering the only arguable downside to the Xbox One is it's lack of power, I really don't see any reason why the Scorpio wont be a huge success. Well, assuming they don't launch it at $599. If they can get this machine out next fall at around $400, I think it's going to surprise (and anger) a lot of people. Microsoft just can't make the same mistakes Sony has with the PS4 Pro.
