It's a fact Xbox lost part of their 360 user base to the PS4 at the start of this current gen I do recall someone estimating along the lines that 1/3 on PS4 owners were new who moved over from the Xbox 360 > PS4 at launch if not we all know a lot moved over to PS4 anyway. When the Scorpio releases it will of been 3-4 years since this group made the switch to PS4 and the Scorpio could be what's needed to bring them back into the Xbox eco-system as well as attract completely new users in to Xbox.

Xbox has greatly improved from the shambles of a reveal which caused them massive damage from both consumers and the mass media and they have spent the past 3 years working on fixing it and providing great features with constant updates and a solid line up of games which they will be taking this positive momentum into the Scorpio with a console fully focused on gaming with no specs or price going into gimmicks or forcing a $100 Kinect onto everyone.

In a years time the claimed 6tf could well be possible for the Scorpio with a $399($449 at the highest imo) and Scorpio will offer the entire library of X1 games as well as plenty of 360 games via BC whilst also future proofing you to at least another 4-5 years of Xbox content and it may be a very tempting buy for not only the Xbox fan base but for people who skipped the One in favour of the PS4 along with people who have never owned a Xbox before.
