I doubt The Last Guardian is going to be a serious GOTY contender. Not because I don't think it will be a good game, but because expectations are so out of control that  I think it's going to be difficult for the game to be judged fairly.

 

I agree,I think FFXV is more plausible choice because is a open world/action RPG and seems to be great,and this gen that kind of game is always a strong contender,The Last Guardian no matter how good is,will be a niche game,only if is a masterful masterpiece (better than Shadow of the Colossus) but I doubt.
