So far, yeah it is my GOTY, I'll be honest I haven't played all that much this year, but then not much else has really inspired a purchase from me. Stardew Valley is my runner up and who knows if I go back and play it again it could take the title, I love that game so much and it completely took me by surprise.
3 games could possibly take the title away.
Civ 6, I held off as Beyond Earth wasn't that great at release and Civ games tend not to be at their best at launch. But I've been hearing so many great things I need to pick this up at some point.
Planet Coaster, this seems to be the management sim I've been dreaming of since I first played Theme Park on the SNES all them years ago.
Of course, there's also FFXV, which I appear to have pre-ordered. This will be the first FF I've bought with absolutely no expectations, hearing good things so hopefully it'll surprise me too.
