Its what happened when console makers insisted that power makes the machine and not the games. Sony was guilty of this too. During the launch of the X1 and PS4 all we'd hear about is how crappy the Xbox One was because it didn't have GDDR5 and that PS4 is the most powerful console in the history of the world. I still remember the pulled Sony ad where they declared Watchdogs 1080p and 60 fps.

Plus that technical sounding terms make average folk feel smart so they tend to go with the higher numbers.

Advertising a power advantage goes back to the very beginning of consoles.  Anyone who has ever had a graphical advantage has played it up, including Nintendo ("Now You're Playing With Power").  I remember an SNES ad talking about their "amazing graphics" because of 16-bit custom chips.  Having a graphical advantage was the basis of Intellivision's attack on Atari.  I have no idea why people act like this is something recent.

Nothing wrong with that. But this isn't one company attacking another. This is a separate entity that specializes in pointing out flaws in everything! And there's only one version of Ratchet and Clank. It's running better on this hardware. That should be good enough.

And I love ya, CGI but I don't see how commenting on an almost verbatim direct quote from the video in the OP can be seen as going off topic. As long as don't turn it into a "console wars" type scenario, everything should be fine. Right?
