Yeah, I guess I should have read more before I posted about it.

When I got to the change in tone, I really didn't like it.  After awhile, though, I found myself warming up to it.  

It's like it jumped from the "reset" genre, to the "hero" genre, then to a kind of hybrid.  I like that he sucks at fighting but keeps fighting in his own way.  I mean, you have to admire the pain he's willing to go through.  I think I'd just give up and use my power to avoid bad stuff, as un-hero-ish as that sounds.  Well, that, and I certainly would NOT pass on using a weapon.

Also, wow, the manga you posted about was really, really good.  Dark as heck but really good.  I kept expecting everyone to die.  I kind of still do, actually.  I hope it continues to be translated, I enjoyed it a lot.  It's like Nichijou with blood.  I think the vengeful school-girl chapter was my favorite.  

"Did you just shoot my mom?!" killed me.

Despite the change in the direction, I kept reading, and I actually came to like it as well. I found it to be really interesting, like having the quirkiness of abilities of One Punch Man and Boku no Hero, but still layered with a slice of tragedy. There are some really silly powers like the turning objects into styrafoam power and being able to make unbreakable tape, but they look dangerous when used. Also, it's always sad to think that in order to beat and solve situations, he has to drown and restart the day everytime and do all the tiresome things of the day or see people die over and over. One of them, he had to die 255 times or some high number to solve it, and that is just... very sad. : (

Glad you like the manga I posted too. xD I think it's a new manga that started getting posted recently and has been updated regularly, so hopefully it will continue. I've read previous works from this artist, which those were also very strange, so the stories in this one should continue to be just as bizzare as those, and that's what got me tuned in for this manga. I can't imagine what sort of crazy story will come up next. I also love how despite all the weird things that happen, it's mostly seen as another normal thing. I laughed at the part where the girl was able to buy a guy from a vending machine, with free bullets to boot as well xD
