I said that Japanese games aren't successful on the Xbox. Final Fantasy is a franchise that survived with exclusivity for consoles until their 12 main game, they would not be able to survive if it was a Xbox exclusive.

Not even Open World games sell well on the Xbox One, Fallout 4 is an exception because of Skyrim and that Bethesda has a great partnership with Microsoft, Bundle Mods and a lot of other things.

Even the polish franchise The Witcher, which had games for the PC and Xbox, sold almost 4 millions for the,  but only 1.3-1.4 millions for the Xbox One.

Except you're missing the point. This game is no longer Japanese, at least not in genre.

I don't understand why you'd say this. They're not as successful as they are on Playstation consoles. I don't see what's the relation. The game might be more successful, but it will not be a bomb on the other console.

And I expect this game to be exactly the same. I foresee a 8M to 1.7M ratio.

if 5% of the copies are sold on xbox they are lucky

And this is the epitome of unrealistic and unjustified bias... No game except Type 0 has this ratio. Will you explain to us why it'd be this way for the most Western and mainstream game Square Enix develops?

The Emo-J-Pop style alone is enough to make people don't even give a look to this game.

I said that Japanese games aren't successful if they aren't on Nintendo or Sony's consoles. They don't sell well on the Xbox One and the PC market doesn't has a fanbase big enough yet.

All the other  consoles/pcs  have a better chance of growth and success than the Xbox One. Final Fantasy XV will sell more week 1 on Japan than lifetime worldwide Xbox sales.
