The great variety in A games has been replaced by indies. A games, or full priced non AAA blockbusters have died off. Perhaps gamers have become dull, only buying into the most hyped blockbusters. The console market has become bigger, yet it seems mostly with CoD, FIFA and GTA fans.
Playstation is doing fine. It just launched VR with great variety in the games. It's nice to see developers experimenting again with control schemes etc. I'm having a blast with it like it's the 90's again. VR and TLG in the same season, what more can you want! Team Ico collection in VR :)
