Not quite. I think that people playing some gems of this generation like TLOUR, Resogun or Bloodborne will have more nostalgia feels than people who have played many PS1 or PS2 games.
For me those games resonated as much as many Nintendo or Sega games I have played on old consoles.
I think the main problem of Playstation currently is the numerous delays they have on several of their big games.
