7th Gen was the worst.
Phat PS3 dead within a year, replaced with warranty. Died again after 6 years, due to me playing it in 90 degree room. I miss my PS1/PS2/PS3 box.
2 360s dead after about a year, no warranty. Fixed both by myself, but one died again soon after. ~2 years.
Went to PS4, instead of buying another terrible 7th gen system.
